Biography

I’m currently a PhD candidate advised by Prof. Adrian Sampson in the Computer Systems Laboratory at Cornell University.

I am pursuing ideas in computer architectures and programming models for heterogeneous computing paradigm, and I hope to ease programmer burden in using heterogeneous systems from my work. Currently, I’m working on a type system for high level synthesis, seashell.

Before joining Cornell, I completed my BSc. (Eng) in Electronic and Telecommunication from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka. I also worked at Paraqum Technologies to commercialize my senior design project, Real time all intra HD HEVC encoder on FPGA.
