Aaron Wilhelm

Aaron Wilhelm is a PhD Candidate in the Napp Lab, having joined in Fall 2020 after receiving his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on ground texture localization and SLAM, developing methods that use a downward-facing camera to enable highly accurate and reliable robot navigation, even in challenging environments.

When he’s not in the lab, Aaron enjoys hiking, scuba diving, baking, cooking, windsurfing, and traveling.
