The Hierarchical Asynchronous Circuit Kompiler Toolkit is a project
originally developed at
Cornell University
for aiding the design of asynchronous circuits.
The project continues to be maintained by
David Fang,
the original author.
HACKT contains a collection of tools to aid asynchronous circuit design.
- Compiler -- the HAC input is compiled into object files, which are passed to other back-end tools
- Simulators -- high-level and digital asynchronous circuit simulators
- Analysis -- the simulation environments also have strong support for analyzing concurrent behavior
