Cathy Chen's Home Page

I was born on the same day as Mozart, in THE CITY, in 1987. Although we soon moved to New Jersey, I am a city girl through and through, and an east coaster, and will continue to argue for the superiority of those two things. After bouncing around for a bit, we settled down in Hillsborough, New Jersery,a town that was recently ranked as the 23rd best place to live in America. I grew up in suburbia, an hour outside of the two big cities, Philly and NYC, and ventured to them often. I graduated with 524 other people, who have scattered to all areas of the country, persuing dreams.

I've always been interested in too many things. Dr. Garber said it best when she said I was that kid with a finger in every pie in the school. That being said, I'm a dancer and a musician, a philosopher and an engineer, a leader and an independent spirit, president of a dance troupe at Cornell, Illuminations, and historian in the Big Red Pep Band. I am Chinese, and probably too proud of this fact, vertically challenged not short, perky, and happy.

This website is what I use as a platform to play with my web design skills. I just learned HTML, and the layout will need a lot of work, but it will suffice for normal displaying of my academic and personal interests, for those out there that are interested.
